I love Passover. I love the traditions, the foods, the people, the story and even the gefilte fish. I open the jar of horseradish and I know it’s time! Passover this year had more meaning than ever. After a year of COVID and missing family dinners, nine of us had a chance to feel free. No, we weren’t slaves for a year, but we felt as though our rights had been taken away. We have not been free to live as before. It was sweet to get back to something that felt a little normal. There were hugs, cheers, laughs and connection. May we never have our freedom taken away again. And may we feel blessed, lucky and grateful to be here another year to celebrate the Passover story. Amen.
