my six in the mix interview. i love NBC!

Today I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Johanna Gomez of Six in the Mix for the local NBC affiliate. She was wonderful and made me feel SO comfortable. Johanna asked me why I was comfortable sharing information about pill addiction. I explained that it is important to see that those who you believe are successful may also have mental health issues. We have to normalize anxiety, depression, addiction, and other struggles so that people know that they too will be okay if they put themselves on the right path. If we don't talk about our demons, then how can we ever hope to get rid of them?
